Workflow aid, not legal advice. This tool works out dates from the details you give it and from Companies House guidance and the commencement regulations as checked on 12 October 2026. The Companies House register shows each person's actual verification dates and is the authority; check it before you rely on a date here. For advice on your situation, ask a solicitor or an accountant.
1. Your roster
One row per person and role. A director who is also a PSC needs both roles (two rows, or the role director and PSC). Company-level dates only need to appear once per company.
Which columns to include
| Column | Needed? | What to put in it |
|---|---|---|
company_number | Yes | Companies House number, e.g. 01234567 or SC123456. |
company_name | Optional | Optional; shown in the table and calendar. |
person_name | Yes | As on the register, e.g. SMITH, Jane or Jane Smith. |
role | Yes | director, LLP member, PSC, secretary, or 'director and PSC'. |
appointed | Optional | Director: appointed on. PSC: 'notified on' from the register. |
cs_date | Optional | Confirmation statement date of the company's first review period ending on or after 18 Nov 2025. Needed once per company. |
verified | Optional | yes if the register already shows this role's identity as verified. |
psc_type | Optional | individual (default) or corporate. |
birth_month | Optional | Existing PSCs who are not directors only: month (1-12 or name), as shown publicly on the register. Never a full date of birth. |
also_director | Optional | Optional yes/no override for PSCs; otherwise matched by name to a director row. |
protected | Optional | Optional: yes if the PSC's details are protected at Companies House. |
extensions | Optional | Optional: number of 14-day PSC extensions granted. |
deceased | Optional | Optional: yes for a PSC who has died. |
Column names are matched loosely (for example notified_on works for appointed, and next_statement_date for cs_date). Dates can be 2026-03-31, 31/03/2026 or 31 March 2026. Columns named like date_of_birth, personal_code or passport are refused without being read.
2. Deadlines

3. Export
The evidence pack records a SHA-256 of your input, the generated schedule, the rules version (2026-10-12.1) and every source with its date, plus a SHA-256 of the whole pack. Files are made in your browser.
Bulk pass
Free: up to 5 companies per run, with every export except the ZIP. A bulk pass ($9, 30 days) covers any number of rows and adds a ZIP with per-company calendars. How to get a bulk pass, and the API.
The pass is checked in your browser with a public key and saved in this browser's local storage. Nothing else is stored.
How the dates are worked out
Existing directors
With the company's next confirmation statement in the transition. Latest date: confirmation statement date + 14 days. The last one is 1 December 2026.
Existing PSCs
A 14-day window: from the day after the confirmation statement date if they were also a director, otherwise the first 14 days of their birth month.
New directors and PSCs
Directors verify before appointment. PSCs registered after 18 November 2025 have 14 days.
The identity verification deadline guide explains each rule with quotes from GOV.UK, and rules & sources lists the official examples this tool is tested against.
